Formby UDC Medical Officer Of Health Annual Reports
The Formby Civic Society physically holds 8 of these Reports in their archive. Thanks to the brilliant work of our member Jon Everett he has traced a further 35 years’ reports as PDF files covering most of the years from 1906 to 1973. Jon also converted each of the pages to individual JPG files allowing data and reports to be linked to other relevant archived images.
These PDF files were digitised by the Internet Archive Org in 2017 with funding from the Wellcome Library and provide an interesting insight to population, births, deaths and general health issues in Formby over a period spanning 57 years.
